Today, we celebrate Memorial Day, a holiday specifically created to honor Americans who died while serving in our nation’s military. Since 1775, nearly 1 million brave men and women have lost their lives to protect our freedom. It’s an extraordinary sacrifice and one for which I’m incredibly grateful.
For many, Memorial Day signals the unofficial start of summer; however, I hope that Americans will also take a moment to honor our veterans.
